Atari Art Plans to Expand the Business
Atari Art, which makes environmentally friendly toys, plans to expand the business.
According to the company's co-founder Nino Dolidze, natural fabric and threads are used to sew dolls. Safety is ensured by the fact that no paint or metal is used while manufacturing.
The company's name Atari is an old Georgian word and means pedlar.
"We aim at creating absolutely safe and natural toys for children. The faces are hand-embroidered. The foxes are made entirely of fabric, and we use Georgian wool for small dolls."
"Foxes are not only bought for children but they are also used as home decor. The company also sells a box, which includes a fox with its own clothes, blanket, and mattress. This develops the child's motor skills - dressing, tying buttons.", noted Nino Dolidze.
In the future, Atari Art plans to expand the business by opening a studio, where the master classes will be held. The work may be seen on-site which will let customers to purchase the desired products in the store.
"We really want to make a studio where we will hold workshops about the techniques of sewing and weaving dolls. I am self-taught. In addition, it will be possible to gain knowledge about details that require years of experience to find something - how to do it easily, more accurately."
