Askaneli Opens Restaurants in Dubai and Almaty Investing $2.6 Million

The company "Askaneli" is expanding its restaurant network outside the country and plans to open "Askaneli's Georgian House" in Dubai and Almaty in 2023,-Company founder Gocha Chkhaidze spoke about this in an interview with Forbes Talks.

According to him, the opening of restaurants in the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan is a great achievement for the company. The company will invest approximately 2.6 million dollars for the expansion of the restaurant chain in the mentioned locations.

"Last week we signed very interesting contracts. We signed an agreement with Raffles Hotel in Dubai. It is one of the big hotels in Dubai and one of the favorite places of Sheikhs. The hotel administration gave us its restaurant, which is located on the second floor, has 280 seats and includes terraces. "Georgian House of Askaneli" will be opened here. This is a working restaurant, where it is not necessary to make a big investment. Its style is such that we will be able to do it easily. In addition, the restaurant is fully equipped with modern equipment, which is worth about 4 million dollars. It can be said that we will have to make a very small investment. Accordingly, on September 1, 2023, a Georgian restaurant will be launched in Dubai, where Georgian dance-song, culture, cuisine, wine will be presented.

We are planning to open another restaurant with the same concept in April-May 2023 in the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan. We chose a very good location in the city for this - in front of the First President's Park. This is an interesting, luxurious place where "Georgian House of Askaneli" will be launched,'' noted Chkhaidze.

About 1.3 million dollars will be required to invest in the construction of the Almaty restaurant. Dubai's investment is about the same, as the existing restaurant will be remodeled.
