"Agro Kultura+" Plans to Export its Production to Asia

"Agro Kultura+" is a tea manufacturer company that makes a great contribution to the process of creating jobs in the regions of Georgia and also reducing migration from villages in mountainous regions.

Nowadays, the company employs 10 people on tea plantations, who are processing the tea for a period of one year. 25 people are employed in the summer during tea harvest. Through employees, the company plans to harvest 4 tons of tea in September 2022.

Currently, the company plans to sell its production to Georgia and export it to Asia as well.

The organic tea plant was co-financed by the European Union, Sweden, and Austria with the support of the GRETA project. In addition, "Agro Kultura+" purchased the equipment needed to increase its production, such as tea dryers and packaging machines, as well as the company received a partial subsidy for bio-certification. 

"Agri Kultura+" was founded in 2018 when the abandoned tea plantation was restored through the state program of Georgia, the purpose of this process was to harvest high-quality organic tea typical for the mountain ecosystem.
