$2.5 million Raised to Support Businesses of Ukraine in Georgia - Gazelle Finance Georgia

Two months ago, the investment fund Gazelle Finance Georgia started preparing a special package to allow companies that need to leave Ukraine temporarily to continue operating from Georgia without hindrance.

According to the executive director of the fund, Natia Janelidze, $2,5 million is already allocated.

"A number of companies have already been selected together with our Ukrainian colleagues who will be able to use this program. This program includes several components, as follows:

Grant - the money issued in the form of a grant will be used to relocate Ukrainian businesses.

Direct Technical Assistance - This component provides reimbursement to companies for legal, tax, or financial consulting services.

Interest-free loan - a simple three-year loan that is subject only to the standard amortization schedule and used to finance companies' operations.

Investment money - the main component of the program, which aims to support company operation.

"We have already reached an agreement and signed an agreement with the Dutch Development Bank FMO.", noted the executive director of the fund.

Gazelle Finance Georgia has been on the Georgian market since 2017. Its large international financial institutions are DFC and FMO.
