Government to Develop Application Detecting Infected Person Nearby
The Government of Georgia plans to develop a special application that will notify an owner if there is an infected person nearby, Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia said.
Similar applications were established in many countries that give corresponding notification to citizens amid the coronavirus elimination efforts, she noted.
“The Government has been working on creating a similar model”, the Deputy Minister noted.
“We plan to develop this direction. We stay in coordination with the Austrian Party. They have shared their model. Now, we have launched working on how to adapt this model in Georgia and ensure its technical support in our reality”, Gabunia pointed out.
