Campus and Scholl of University of Caucasus Opened in Batumi
Campus and school of University of Caucasus opened in Batumi.
President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili and members of the Adjara Autonomous Government have attended the event.
“This is a historical day, because this university will be built in Adjara. This is a very important project because education system is expended to regions. Batumi owns a university and international-level university is entering the region. We have noted many times that it is our priority to develop regions”, Salome Zurabishvili said.
University of Caucasus has been implementing educational programs in Batumi in the fields of tourism, law and economics since 2010.
Construction of a new campus for university and secondary schools was planned with the support of Adjara Government.
The Caucasus will be equipped with modern infrastructure, library, laboratory, playgrounds, swimming pool and students’ dormitory.
The space for 1500 domestic and 500 international students will be built in 3 years.
University of Caucasus will provide BA, MA and PHD programs. Preferences will run for successful socially vulnerable students.
