Global inequality is so bad it’s almost impossible to visualise it

An Oxfam report warned the richest one per cent of the world’s population will soon have more wealth than the remaining 99 per cent.

The charity estimates that currently the richest 80 people in the world have a combined wealth of $1.9 trillion: the same as the world’s 3.5 billion poorest people. The difference is so bad it can’t actually be visualised.
