The country has financial resources and the population is solvent, our wines are in premium segment and these factors are of crucial importance for us.
Moreover, new trend has emerged in Japan for Qvevri wines. Many companies have launched exports of Qvevri wines to Japan from Georgia. All these factors show that Japan will be the second biggest market for Georgian wine after China” Giorgi Apkhazava said.
