Georgian Wines Win 14 Medals at MUNDUS VINI 2018 Summer Tasting

14 Georgian wines have won top awards at prestigious competition Mundus Vini 2018 Summer Tasting, organized by German wine magazine publisher “Meininger Verlag”. The competition is held twice a year: In summer and before the ProWein exhibition.

The summer awards were announced recently. Georgian wines won 8 gold and 6 silver medals. List of winners follows:

In February’s Mundus Vini 2018, record-breaking 18 Georgian wines won gold and silver awards (more detail here).

A Grand Gold Medal is awarded for more than 95 points score, 90-95 points receives Gold, 86-90 receives Silver.

The awarded wines will be presented at the prestigious ProWein fair in Dusseldorf at a special winners stand.
