Georgian Wine Days will be held on October 5-21

The Georgian Wine Days – “Gvinobistve-2018” – will be celebrated in Georgia on October 5-21. It is a series of events organized by National Wine Agency.

Events will be held in Tbilisi and several regions of Georgia. Wine days will be opened in Telavi on October 5. This part of the event will be called “Telavino 2018”. It will be celebrated in the Old City Garden.

The Days will continue on October 12 in Marneuli (Kvemo Kartli), on the territory of the local Cultural Center. In the Marneuli part of the festival, wine tastings, a fair of handicrafts, clay processing workshops, a competition for the best winemaker and a spectacular wringing of grape juice are expected.

The Days will also be completed in Tbilisi, at the Winery No. 1 (Petriashvili Street No. 1), with the festival  “Small Marani on the Big Arena”. The event will be held on October 17. About 40 wineries (marani) will take part in the festival.

“Gvinobiststve 2018” will close on October 21 with the awarding ceremony of the winners of the national competition of Georgian wine.
