As a result of intensive work carried out by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea and the Immigration Service, the Korean authorities have made a decision to simplify the visa regime for citizens of Georgia with ordinary passports.
The simplification of visa regime means issuing multiple visas with the period of validity of 1-5 years for citizens of Georgia and the persons with higher education and private sector (private sector, medical, etc.).
Single and one-year visa of the Republic of Korea was issued for Georgians before visa regime was simplified.
It is noteworthy that the number of documents to be sent to the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Korea will be significantly reduced and the term of a single visa stay in Korea will increase from 30 to 90 days.
New type, multiple and long-term visas are especially facilitating the cooperation of Georgian citizens working in businesses, technologies, education and other fields and cooperation with Korean partners and tourism development.
