Georgia’s Tourism Revenue Exceeded 3 Billion USD in 11 Months of 2018

In 11 months of 2018, Georgia’s tourism revenue exceeded $ 3 billion, which is more than in 2017, the National Bank reports.

In  2017, Georgia received $ 2.7 billion from the tourism industry, which is approximately equal to revenue for 10 months of 2018.

Tourism revenues hit record levels traditionally in August, at the height of the season.

Nevertheless, the data for 11 months does not reflect the general situation – from the end of December a large number of foreigners come to Georgia for the New Year holidays and in the remaining month, this figure will further rise.
