Batumi Cable Car Serves Its Millionth Visitor

Batumi cable car company ARGO has served its millionth visitor Aleksei Tuchak, a tourist from Ukraine, who is visiting Georgia jointly with his friends for the first time.

Sulkhan Ghlonti, head of Ajara Tourism Department, Zurab Churkveidze, director of Goderdzi Resort, and Batumi Cable Car director Giorgi Abashidze handed over a special certificate and gifts to the Ukrainian guest.

Alksei Tuchak received an unlimited access to Argo cable car, 5-day tour to Goderdzi Resort, a supper at ARGO restaurant and Batumi Card, a discounts card. He also received Georgian products and advertising-information materials and souvenirs of Batumi. 

“Our objective is to grants unforgettable days to Ajara visitors. Our millionth visitor had genuinely surprising day today. It is important that we have tourism infrastructure, where people spend pleasant time. We continue arranging similar infrastructure in our region and we will do our best to attract as many tourists to Ajara as possible. 

This year number of visitors, who enjoyed Batumi cable car services, increased by 17 813 persons. Number of visitors grows in all other tourist places too and this fact stressed the importance of Ajara, as a tourism destination”, Ajara Tourism Department Chairman Sulkhan Ghlonti said.
