After Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Japan the world’s fifth-largest Institute of Technology will be established in Georgia.
“Technological Institute is epochally important project for our country”, – the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said at the presentation of the Institute of Technology construction project.
Georgian Government is the founder of the Institute of Technology in Georgia.
The project is fully funded by the International Charity Fund “Cartu”, which will also fully fund the students’ education and their missions in partner organizations.
There will be possible for scientists to conduct important researches in several fields, including medicine, in particular, with the direction of oncology “hadron Therapy”.
The project aims to implement researches in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, engineering, and computer technologies. In addition, the master and doctoral programs will be also offered for the future student’s.
The base will be created for scientific, experimental researches, which are significantly important for the country’s potential research and development.
The cost estimated for the construction of the project amounts several hundred millions. Institute will be placed in Tbilisi, Digomi.
