Belarusian tractor manufacturer brand will open its plant in Georgia.
This information was provided by Zviad Bregvadze, who is the manager of the World Technic. According to him, the memorandum was signed during the visit of Alexandre Lukashenko, in Georgia.
“During the visit of Alexandre Lukashenko in Georgia, the memorandum was signed, where Georgian Technical University, “World Technic”company and Auto plant of Belarus were participating. There we expressed our interest and wish to produce jointly developed tractors in Georgia in near future.” – said Bregvadze.
Belarusian side undertakes an obligation in terms of technical needs. As a result, it is planned the belarussian brand to open its pant specifically in Vaziani. Additionally, there will not be only a factory but the science center as well.
Their first main objective is to achieve 30-35% localisation on place during the first three years. Thus, new additional jobs will be created.
Consequently, it should be pointed out that the completed plant will be in accordance with the license and the responsibility concerning the output produced in the factory takes not only Georgian side but Belarusian side also.
