Automatic Station to Mesure Air Pollution in Batumi

Automatic station for air pollution detection has been installed in Batumi.

According to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the automatic station will measure pollutant substances and concentration of nitric and sulfur and carbonic oxide dust in continuous regime.

The station will also detect dust particles of various diameters in the Batumi air, the Ministry said.

Tamar Bagratia, head of the national environment agency, has visited the automatic station operation place jointly with specialists.
