Georgia Has Twice More Graduate Doctors than Europe

Twenty-five universities, out of 75 nation-wide, offer healthcare and medical programs, including 15 institutions which provide six-year programs for graduate health workers, five offering a BA program for paramedics and 20 vocational colleges providing programs for practitioner paramedics.

According to the health barometer Curatio, programs for graduated paramedics were completed by 684 Georgian students in 2016. In Georgia the number of graduate doctors per 100,000 residents is twice as high than the average numbers for Europe and CIS countries.
