On October 4, at 9 AM Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University will host the first international congress of Georgian Association of Oncology Urology.
For the first time in South Caucasus, the congress will hold transatlantic demonstration of ultramodern robotic surgery technologies – live translation from the USA. Vipul Patel, one of the founders of robotic surgery from Florida, the USA, will do the operation by use of robotic technologies and give a lecture.
Stefan Muller, professor for Bonn University and Tbilisi State University honorary doctor, Hendrick van Poppel, vice secretary general of European Association of Urologists and other leading doctors and scientists from Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Armenia will deliver a speech at the congress.
Georgia’s leading researchers and doctors from oncology hospitals will also deliver a speech at the congress.
