Starting next year, Zugdidi will receive 24/7 water supply-Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, accompanied by Minister Zurab Alavidze of Regional Development and Infrastructure, visited the ongoing construction site of the centralized water supply system.
The project involves constructing a water distribution network, a pumping station, reservoirs, and a main water pipe.
After the completion of works, a decades-long problem facing the locals will be solved, and a 24/7 water supply will be provided. The 84,970,765 GEL project is financed by the Asian Development Bank. The construction, employing 150 people, will be completed in 2018.
