Young Georgian architects teamed up with Italian group from Politecnico di Milano for Toronto waterfront development charrette project.
George Maisuradze and Nodar Kvanchiani, representing Politecnico di Milano, along with 250 other young architects were called to create innovative solutions for existing urban, social, and ecological problems and establish brand new living ecosystem via designing smart buildings and public spaces.
Creation of projects in compliance with the new standards, so called -Net Zero and Net Positive building, was the main topic of the conference held in Toronto, Canada lately.
The last day included presentation of the new ideas, which were later discussed by the board of George brown College Design department and Toronto waterfront development company representatives. Royal Architectural Institute of Canada took part in discussion as well.
Both, George and Nodar, are the beneficiaries of IEC of Georgia.
