According to the port owner APM Terminals, in May this year, Poti Sea Port was involved in the fourth week of UN Global Traffic Safety and trained drivers . Today, 1378 drivers have passed training and they have been awarded with relevant certificates.
Trainings for the truck drivers in Poti Sea Port will be completed by the end of September.
In addition, according to the company, several meetings were held in the Poti Sea Port, where logistics, transport companies, marine lines and local authorities took part.
As agreed at the meeting, trucks will be checked visually and only the ones that meet standards will be allowed to enter.
