Tbilisi City Hall to Open New Under- and Above Ground Parking Places in 2017

New underground and aboveground parking places will be unveiled in Tbilisi in about a year. Tbilisi City Hall has already finished selection process of due locations and about 10 places have been selected.

Deputy Tbilisi Mayor Irakli Lekvinadze told the Business Contact that Tbilisi City Hall will submit the project to interested investors. At this stage, the project is being redesigned, Irakli Lekvinadze said.

“Private investors demonstrate huge interest. We plan to introduce the project to actively interested business circles. We expect new parking places to open in Tbilisi in about a year”, Lekvinadze said and added that  underground and aboveground parking places will open in both central and suburban parts of Tbilisi, where necessary.
