Tbilisi City Hall Announces Third Tender to Buy Buses

Tbilisi Transport Company has announced the third tender with the aim to purchase 90 buses at 45 million GEL.

The city hall plans to buy 23-seat buses on Euro Diesel VI. Certain details of the third tender were revised: in previous tender the maximum milage was 2800 km, while now this top margin has increased to 5000km.

Warranty periods were also revised and extended to 24 months from 12 months. Requirements for a company experience were also changed. Namely, the supplier with 15 year experience should have supplied 300 buses in Georgia and abroad, instead of previous 600 ones.

We remind you that the first tender was announced in early May, but no application was submitted. Another tender was announced in several weeks and only Tegeta Truck & Bus submitted application, but the company was disqualified because of technical documentation.
