Swiss Tourism and Hospitality School Les Roches to Start Operating in Georgia

For the first time in Georgia and the region, the International School of Higher Education will carry out educational activities. The school starts functioning on the base of business and technology. Les Roches entering Georgia was supported by the National Tourism Administration and World Tourism Organization.

The event was held at “Courtyard Marriott”, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, First Vice Premier, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitri Kumsishvili, Education Minister Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Rector of Business and Technology University Mikheil Batiashvili and other invited guests.

The Prime Minister talked about the positive steps taken by the University of Business and Technologies and noted that the University is the best in this regard. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, as the background of the achievements and challenges in the direction of tourism, Les Roche’s entering is important because the local staff will be trained to be competitive worldwide.

The Prime Minister of Georgia also noted that the university will educate not only Georgian citizens but also those interested in the region and Eastern Europe, which will increase interest towards Georgia and promote its rapid development.
