Regional Approach for Sustainable Energy Transition Between Eastern Partner Countries Discussed

The sustainable energy transition of the Eastern Partner countries – Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine – are being discussed at a two-day international conference entitled “Armenia: A Lighthouse for Sustainable Energy Scale-up”.

The event was jointly organised by the Energy Saving Foundation and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. It started on 3 December in the Armenian capital of Yerevan.

The purpose of the conference is to set the stage for countries to share their lessons from successful policy implementation in the sustainable energy area and exchange opinions and knowledge on enhancing energy security.

Armenia has had a relatively successful experience on its path to sustainable energy transition over the past 15 years.
