Process to be Held on Elit Electronics Founder Case at Tbilisi City Court

On February 15, at 16:30, the trial will be held at the Tbilisi City Court on the high-profile case of the founder of “Elit Electronics” businessman Anzor Kokoladze.

Written form investigation has completed and the court started interrogating witnesses.

Businessman Anzor Kokoladze was charged by Saakashvili government on December 13, 2011 – “a” and “b” of paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 180 of the Criminal Code of Georgia And “a” and “part 3” of Section 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

“By examining written provements it was clear once again that the allegation filed was absolutely groundless, from Saakashvili’s government and served only one purpose, to seize Elit Electronics through a joint scheme by Kezerashvili and Khazaradze, directed me to arrest and to sue me. I am convinced that the Prosecutor’s Office and the Court will be convinced of the unfounded accusations against me. The court, the prosecutor’s office and the society once again violate the criminal scheme of Saakashvili, Kezerashvili Khazaradze, “said businessman Anzor Kokoladze.
