A New Fruit Garden was Planted at the Occupation Line

Within the framework of “United AgroProject”, Amiran Khodeli, the beneficiary of the project “Plant the Future”, planted an intensive garden of apple on 12 hectares. The fruit garden is located in village Bershueti, Gori region.

Director of Agriculture Projects Management Agency Revaz Asatiani, together with Kakhaber Samkharadze, governor of Shida Kartli region and local self-government representatives visited Amiran Khodeli’s apple garden.

Beneficiary got  involved in program in 2016. The state allocated 94 650 GEL for establishment of garden and irrigation systems, 67 550 GEL for seedlings and 27 100 GEL for drip systems.

Within the framework of the project “Plant the Future”, new gardens of fruit trees are grown on 4 289 hectares and the amount of state funding is 22 186 339 million GEL. Out of these, in the region of Kartli region, fruit trees were planted on 1 349 hectares of land.
