JICA to Finance Renewable Energies Projects in Georgia

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will finance big projects in Georgia.

The Ministry of Economy, Giorgi Gakharia hosted Riosei Tanaka, the minister of Land, Infrastructure, Tourism and Transport. The ministers talked about trade relations between countries and discussed the future perspectives of collaboration.

It has to be noted that JICA implemented a lot of grant projects in Georgia. A lot of important fields were developed. Currently, JICA implements a lot of projects in terms of developing renewable energy sources infrastructure in Tbilisi. More specifically, JICA invested more than 4 million USD in the field of education and gave the loan of 45 million USD.

Besides that, the agency will invest 190 million USD for the construction of East-West highway.
