Hungary to Help City Authorities Restore the Tbilisi Zoo

On September 22, Minister of Finance of Georgia Nodar Khaduri met the acting Ambassador of Hungary to Georgia Szilvia Peto.

As acting Ambassador says, Hungary has expressed readiness to provide the financial and technical assistance to the city government in the process of rebuilding the zoo. The Hungarian side, if necessary, will also train Georgian specialists.

Finance Minister expressed gratitude for this initiative and informed about the City Hall’s plans to build a new zoo in the vicinity of the Tbilisi sea. The Ministry of Finance is ready to provide the Hungarian side with the detailed information on the needs required for the elimination of consequences of the June 13-14 flood.
