Hackathon for Rugby to Take Place on 9-11 June, 2017

In the frame of Social and Educational Initiative of World Rugby Championship, San Diego State University and Georgian Rugby Union will host Hackathon Rugby event with the support of Information and Communications Company, Beeline on 9-11 June, 2017.

In the recent years, the role of new technologies increased significantly in sport and more specifically in rugby. GPS monitoring, medical data receiver censors, game video analysis are actively used to improve the team preparation.

The aim of hackathon is to support creating of innovative, technological projects which will help Georgian rugby to achieve even more success.

In the frame of Hackathon, the participants will have an opportunity to offer innovative solutions of the practical tasks to Rugby Union. Winner projects will be rewarded with special prizes.
