Geostat: Men more Frequently Own Assets than Women

According to the research on Ownership of Assets in terms of Gender, men own assets more frequently than women. Ratio of owners of residential spaces is the highest one among all assets.

Gender inequality is evident in documented ownership of residential spaces (about 13%), compared to announced ownership of residencies (about 5%).

Gender inequality in agriculture land ownership is confirmed by the fact that men own twice more documented lands compared to women. 14% difference is registered in documented ownership of agriculture lands.

Comparison of real estate ownership in rural and urban zones has not revealed significant differences in case of residencies and other real estates. In whole, gender inequality is more evident in real estate ownership in rural zones.

Moreover, according to the research, the announced ratio of financial assets among all assets turned our the lowest.
