Georgian Water and Power is Holding 2nd International Conference

Today, July 27, at the hotel “Rooms”, Georgian Water and Power is organizing a second international conference dedicated to system development of water supply sector.

The conference was opened by Giorgi Tskhadadze, General Director of Georgian Water and Power. The participants of the conference were welcomed by the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Maia Tskitishvili and they emphasized that the systematic development of water supply for our country is a very important issue.

“I welcome the initiative of GWP to integrate our efforts on systemic development of this sphere,” Maia Tskitishvili said.

Irina Milorava, Chairperson of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, Giorgi Tkemaladze, Chairman of Tbilisi Sakrebulo and Deputy Mayor of Irakli Bendeliani addressed the international conference.

Participants of the conference together with Georgian Water and Power , are the first persons from the Georgian Water Supply Sector and GWP partners, European Leader Companies. Leaders of water supply companies from Germany, Spain, Poland, Romania and Denmark attended the event.

“Our company management is focused on long-term goals, system improvement and service stability,” said George Tskhadadze, Director General of Georgian Water and Power.

Representatives of Georgian Water and Power talk about the innovations at the international conference, which the company plans to bring together with international leader brands in Georgia. In turn, foreign water companies and manufacturers share international experience with each other.
