Georgian Students Cancel Graduation Events to Allocate Money into Fund

University graduates, school students, canceled their proms and trips to allocate collected money, into funds to help victims from Tbilisi Flood.

Apart from this, students are actively involved in cleaning-up  and investigation procedures.

Georgian government thanks volunteers, for their generous solidarity. Behaviour is assessed as unprecedented solidarity. Volunteers have been working on demolished places about three days.

The human death toll rose to 16 on Tuesday when the body of a missing woman was found in a children’s park, the police said. Seven people are still missing after an intense downpour that began late Saturday turned a stream that runs through the city into a raging torrent that destroyed houses and tore up roads. About 40 families lost their homes.
