Georgian Researcher Obtains Fogarty International Center Grant

Zurab Nadareishvili, Tbilisi State Medical University professor and associated professor for George Washington University Neurology faculty,  has obtained a grant of Fogarty International Center of US  National Institutes of Health for conducting scientific research.

According to Ministry of Education of Georgia, the Georgian researcher, currently, chairs John Hopkins Hospital’s Stroke Center and, at the same time, jointly with Georgian researchers, he has been working on important research project financed by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.

Zurab Nadareishvili, jointly with Georgian scientists, is author of 25 research works published at leading international medical journals. He also leads active pedagogical activities.

Zurab Nadareishvili, certified diploma winner of US neurology and psychology board,  frequently arrives in Georgia to receive Georgian patients, while in the USA he is a kind host of Georgian colleague,  researchers and students.
