Georgian Girl in USA Invented Earthquake Metering Device

Ana Robakidze, 24, who lives in the USA, has invented earthquake metering device.

Robakidze told BM.GE that she and her Chinese friend have worked on the device for over a year and in the near future the device will be commercialized in the USA and China.

“This device gives more accurate information compared to current equipment. The device has a speaker, which, during earthquake, instructs what to do”, Robakidze noted.

In case of successful commercialization of the device, they will use artificial intellect in the future and will determine the scale and effect of earthquakes in advance.

“At this stage, similar device exists only in Japan. We have no competitor on other markets”, Robakidze noted.

The device has also an application and its functions are ore different from the Japanese analogue, she said.
