The first Georgian-French animated movie “The Pocket Man” gained two awards at Montreal World Film Festival. The film received special prizes from children and professional jury members in Canada.
Professional jury announced The Pocket Man as the best short animated movie.
“It was brilliant, emotional and a beautiful story”- said one of the members of jury.
The content of the animation is the following: There is a small man called Edgar who lives in the suitcase. Once, a blind man opens the suitcase and that’s when the story of a special friendship starts. Edgar continues living in the friend’s pocket.
The author, Ana Chubinidze says that he came up with an idea to create this movie 3 years ago. French Animation Studio, Folimage and Georgian Studio Kvali XXI worked together to make a movie.
The first night of the animated movie will take place at the International Animation Festival NIKOZI.
