Georgia recently got promoted to a better position in “Global Innovation Index” and is ranked 64th out of 128 countries.
Compared to the last year (2015), Georgia meaningfully improved its position from No. 73 to No. 64 in the list.
Rating compiled by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)evaluates countries according to various criteria. Including: Innovation orientation, economic growth, business development. Overall rating consists of more than 80 criteria.
Switzerland, Sweden, the UK, the US and Finland keep first leading positions in the rating of “Global Innovation Index” similar to last year.
Armenia keeps 60th position in the ranking, while Turkey stands on 42nd place, Azerbaijan – 85th, and Russia is ranked 43rd. Additionally, Ukraine is ranked 56th place.
