Plans have been made to open a trading house of Georgia in Minsk by the end of the year, Ambassador of Georgia to Belarus Valeri Kvaratskhelia told BelTA.
The trading house will offer the best Georgian food and wines.
The project will allow Minsk residents and guests to learn more about Georgia in addition to promoting tighter relations between countries. On the whole, the ambassador mentioned the high level of cooperation between Belarus and Georgia. It is now necessary to raise the bilateral trade turnover to $200 million. “We are getting close to the figure. And it is not the best we can do. There are many areas we have yet to explore.
