Georgia to Negotiate Visa-Free Regime with Tuvalu

Georgia has launched negotiations with Tuvalu on visa-free regime introduction for holders of ordinary, diplomatic and business passports in Georgia and Tuvalu. The information was published by the Georgian Government’s website.

It should be noted that starting April 1 the secessionist Authorities of invaded Abkhazia enacted the law on entrance and departure. The so-called law names the countries that provide visa-free regime for the so-called Abkhaz citizens. Tuvalu is named in this list too.

Tuvalu recognized the so-called independence of Abkhazia in 2011, but recalled the recognition in 2014 and signed a protocol on establishing diplomat and consular relations with Georgia.
