The first American barbecue restaurant “Big Smoke” will be presented to the customers with a new name and menu. The event will take place on 28th of October, 2016, at 19.30, on Beliashvili str. 22, in Tbilisi.
The interior and technology in the restaurant is entirely American. There is the facility “Smoker” for the barbecue installed, which is the only facility in Caucasus guaranteeing to prepare a real barbecue. In this facility, they smoke the meat for 8-16 hours, therefore in the restaurant; you can try a real barbecue such as specially made smoked ribs, with vegetables on the grill.
“I came up with an idea to open the restaurant in 2012 with my American Partner”-declares one of the owners of the restaurant Nikoloz Kiknadze. “We created a business plan and implemented this plan. Our service stuff and chef is trained by Americans. The highest quality of products and all the stages of food preparation are controlled and match the standards. All the additional ingredients and sauces for the barbecue are provided from American side.
The restaurant was opened a year ago, in October 2015, and it can host 60 guests. In the working process, there was a necessity to reconsider the concept of a real American barbecue and present it in a way which would be acceptable for local Georgian market. Therefore, the name of the restaurant, menu and the environment was matched to the customers’ needs. Basically, there were 7 kind of stakes added to the menu and also the dishes Georgian customers demand for. Additionally, “Big Smoke” offers live music to its customers at the weekend as well as most of football matches on the big screen. There is a special lunch menu offers from 12.00 to 15.00.
Barbecue Restaruant “Big Smoke” is planning to open another restaurant in the central part of Tbilisi in the beginning of next year. They will offer a good quality Fast Food and delivery service to the customers.
