Exposition of Artworks from Private Collection—Museum’s Holiday Gift to Visitors

The Georgian Museum of Fine Arts is proud to present Exhibits from the Museum’s Repository, a group exhibition of modern Georgian artists.

The museum’s repository opens its doors to visitors on Christmas, with the temporary exhibition hall displaying artworks by 10 celebrated modern Georgian artists from the collection of the museum’s repository. The exhibition opens at 7 pm, December 25, to last until January 14. Admission is free.

• Gogi Chagelishvili
• Otar Chkhartishvili

The exhibition’s opening ceremony will be held at 7 pm-9 pm, December 25 and last until January 14th.

Venue: 7 Shota Rustaveli Avenue, Georgian Museum of Fine Arts.

The Georgian Museum of Fine Arts opened in October 2018 to bring together examples of Georgian fine arts created in the past 70 years. The museum preserves the private family collection of its founders, Gia Jokhtaberidze and Manana Shevardnadze. The exposition space, incorporating 31 halls and a repository with special equipment, houses 3,500 works by almost 80 artists.
