European Accreditation Recognizes Accreditation of Georgia

At the European Accreditation (EA) general assembly an agreement on recognition of outcomes of accreditation issued in Georgia was signed.

According to evaluation by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, this agreement is a serious achievement, result of consecutive reforms and additional recognition of Georgian state institutions by Europe’s due association.

‘This achievement will help Georgian products easier penetrate European market and European countries will recognize Georgian accreditation. The agreement will cover the following fields accredited by National Accreditation Organization: exams and calibrating; products certification; staff certification; inspection”, the Prime Minister noted.
