Estonian Experts to Assist Georgia in Population Registration

On 26–30 November, experts from Estonia will visit Georgia to provide assistance to the country by establishing a population register.

They will meet with over 20 representatives from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) and several line ministries and agencies of the country.

The aim of this mission is to share experience and assist Geostat with its mission to draft a report with recommendations for establishing a population register.

The visit is being organized by the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX), in cooperation with Geostat.
