New Eastern Partnership European School, officially opened. The school constitutes a major deliverable of the Eastern Partnership initiative following the November 2017 Summit.
Today, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze held a meeting with Commissioner Johannes Hahn for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy.
The meeting emphasized the importance of opening the European school in Georgia, the first of its kind in the Eastern Neighborhood. The school will enable students from six countries to receive high-level undergraduate education and to obtain international bachelor’s degree diplomas in European studies. According to the Prime Minister, education is one of the top priorities of the Georgian Government. Bakhtadze thanked the EU for the implementation of said project.
