Care for the City – Tbilisi City Hall has announced a new social campaign and corresponding contest, which is part of the campaign.
The advertising company with the winning concept will implement the project in six months. The winning concept will be selected by a commission made up of representatives from various professions and socially active citizens, selected jointly with Tbilisi City Hall.
The six-month social campaign aims to upgrade conscience, enliven social responsibility and develop a culture of caring in the city.
At the project’s presentation, Kakha Kaladze said that there are several factors to maintain already-implemented projects and increase the efficiency of corresponding services. There are many cases of vandalism and theft in public spaces, Kaladze noted.
“Millions of GEL are spent every year on accommodation and infrastructure projects. Both material and human resources are necessary for the implementation of these works. Vandalism and an indifferent attitude make it necessary to begin many works anew. There are many instances of the population polluting the city and we have to mobilize additional millions. These factors hinder the capital city’s development process and distort the appearance of the city,” Kakha Kaladze said.
