Bitfury Sold Gldani Data Center

Bitfury IT service management company, sold its data center which is located in Gldani district, to Asian Chong Sing Holdings with whom negotiations lasted for several months.

According to Bitfury CEO Valery Vavilov, selling the data center is aimed at expanding the company on the Asian market.

“The transaction strengthens our relationship with Chinese partners and helps the company to continue its successful expansion in Asia,” Vavilov said.

Bitfury opened a 40 MW DATA center in 2016 in the free industrial zone of Tbilisi. The company has launched innovative energy efficient system of cooling in the center of the center and is equipped with the latest generation of chips.
