Bahrain airline Gulf Air is studying the Georgian market.
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dimitri Kumsishvili has met with the Bahrain company representatives and a member of the Bahrain economic board in the tourism development sector.
At the meeting, the parties discussed perspectives for appointing direct flights from Bahrain to Georgia.
The Bahrain delegation is visiting Tbilisi by invitation of the Georgian Airport Association.
As part of the visit, the Bahrain delegation will meet with representatives of tourism companies and will discuss Georgia’s tourism potential in details and receive detailed information about the existing tourism market.
It should be noted that Gulf Air is a leading airline of the Bahrain Kingdom that launched operation in 1950 and is one of the leading companies in Near East and is recorded among the world’s major airlines.
Currently, the airline performs flights from Bahrain International Airport to 43 cities in 24 countries.
