20-Year-Old Graphic Designer from Dusheti Won Cannes Lions Golden Award

20 years old graphic designer – Sandro Laliashvili won Cannes Lions Golden award in design category.

Sandro is involved in the field of advertising only for several months. Despite the small amount of time, Sandro participated in Cannes Lions Festival and took part in the competition on behalf of the company ABK and won with his team members.

In summer Sandro is going to travel in Cannes, where with his partner he will present the project.

He lived and graduated from the school in Dusheti. Now he is a 2nd year bachelor’s student at GIPA, where he is studying in the faculty of media art.

“One evening, when I was coming back from the lectures, Nino lazarashvili called me and offered me to participate in the competition on behalf of the company ABK. Of course, I gladly accepted this proposal. As a result, in the design category we won gold medal”, – Sandro Laliashvili said.

“Me and my partner Michael Todua will do our best and try everything our participation to be effective, but I do not want to raise expectations any higher.”

He has worked on the projects “Muzame” and King David Residences so far. At the moment he works for the two Georgian musicians “band’s logo, who are working in the United States.

“Thus, I am a freelancer, and I like the schedule of the work I do. It is also convenient that you can work anywhere in the world without leaving home.”

“It is very interesting to me, when I am creating something new and different. Graphic design is a creative process and that’s why I like my job”, -he said.
