Kollektiv Turmstrasse is a German duo founded in Hamburg in 1998 with by Christian Hilscher and Nico Plagemann. The artists realized that their friendship was inevitable, and the project soon became part of the world’s leading clubs and festivals.

The studio’s work began in 2000, after which their recordings were posted on the labels Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Connaisese Recordings, Diynamic Music, No Response, Cocoon and Get Physical. At different times they worked on remixes of artists including Hot Chip, Trentemøller and Terry Lee Brown Jnr. The interaction with the listeners and the exchange of emotions is important to the process.
