Apple and Google Named World’s Most Expensive Companies for Third Year

Apple and Google named world’s most expensive companies for the third time in a row by Interbrand Corp.

Interbrand’s “100 Best Global Brands” is an annual report that the brand consultancy company has been putting together for the last 16 years

According to Interbrand, Apple’s net worth has hiked by 43% this year and constituted $170,276 billion. Google has increased its net worth by 12% and is worth $120,31 billion today.

Six high-tech companies share best Brands’ Top Ten, apart from Apple and Google: Microsoft (4th place, $67,67 billion), IBM (5th place, $64,1 billion), Samsung (7th place, $45,3 billion), Amazon (10th place, $37,95 billion).

In total, 28 out of 100 companies were in the technology or auto-production fields.

Toyota (6th place, $49,05 billion), General Electric (8th place, $42,27 billion), and Macdonald’s (10th place, $39,81 billion) made it to Interbrand’s Top Ten Global Best Brands.
